A well loved book

I'm guessing this book is about 50 years old. It was in a batch of books given to me by my younger niece and nephew a few years ago.  They had gotten it from their cousins and they had gotten it from their mom, my dear sis-in-heart.  It has been well used in my classroom but I fear it may not make it past this group of 3 year olds.  I think it needs to go on the shelf for a while so it can live to see another year.   :*D
