And now it's round

There's a lot about this that I'm not happy with starting with the seam.  It's fixable but I need to set it aside for a bit and think about it.  I'm going ahead with the border while I'm thinking.

There is also a lot I love about this project.  I would definitely make another......once I get the kinks worked out.

What seam? I don't see a problem with this, other than all the ends need some weaving and maybe a border....

  2. LOL! My kids just blurt it all out! They're so little that what they think comes right out their little mouths.

Border is under construction. You're too kind not to notice the seam and I think it looks worse in person. I don't think it will be a difficult fix but I am dreading it. If I was keeping the blanket I wouldn't even bother but I want to donate this to the school raffle at the carnival....probably not this year but for next year.

Another loom knitter had the same seam issue and we were discussing some type of applique to cover it. Our school Mascot is a bulldog and I was thinking if I can't get through the tinking and redo I could cover it up.

  3. OK, well, I see the seam (I'm not kind, I guess), and I'm just wondering if you pulled the mattress stitch too tightly so that it made the raised seam? If you loosen it, would it smooth out? It's very interesting, but what are you using this for?
