Winter Organizing, Winter Sunset

Though, it can hardly be called winter when the highs are in the low 70s.

My knitting, project bags, and sundry materials were creating a nest around my living room chair.  Sis was here this weekend and we found a small, red toned bookshelf that fits perfectly in the little nook next to my chair.

The assembled shelf (from Target) in
it's nook

The bookshelf filled up with projects,
loom knitting supplies and books.

And on the top, space for a project.

Yesterday's Sunset.  Very pink!

It must be cute season

Three posts in a row about cute, hm, maybe I should talk about work.   These are from the little heart weaving loom that was a Christmas present.   I haven't quite decided what they'll be but I'm thinking embellishment on a scarf.

And speaking of work, it's mad, crazy busy.   I'm not sure some days if I'm coming or going and I'm never sure if I'm getting everything done that needs doing.   I do know that next year something needs to be different.  I'm not sure my director will like what I'd like to change.   There's time.

The second cutest thing I've ever knit: A Snowman Scarf!

Another fun time knitting, changing my mind on this part or that, button shopping, and tomorrow gifting!

It's officially the cutest thing I've ever knit.

This was so much fun to figure out and knit.  It was fun to shop for the buttons.  I have learned, however, that I'm not as good at detail work like sewing on little buttons as I once was.  They slip out of my fingers as I'm trying to thread them onto a needle!  I amazed that I didn't lose any of them.

Here's my Ravelry project page.

Family Time, Knitting Projects, and a Desert Sunset.

Sis and I stayed with Dad so his wife could get some respite time and enjoy her family.   We had a pretty good week with only one difficult "dementia day".     I was able to get some knitting time in, Sis and I had evenings for crafting, games on devices, and chatting.

This is my first knitting board project.   It's a baby blanket pattern but I'm going to double the length and make it a pillow cover for Sis.

I've been having fun creating this
snowman scarf for a friend.

Lovely desert sunset beginning.  I was trying
to get a photo of the sun dog but wasn't too successful.
It's still a nice photo.
